Two
Rivers Glass & Door
History
Larry Pollpeter, founder
of Two Rivers Glass & Door, Inc. has been in the glazing
business since 1961. Until 1992 he worked with some of the area's
largest glass contracting firms. Larry worked in the field as
a glazier and later managed hollow metal replacement and glazing
operations.
In 1992, Larry decided
to launch his own business. Two Rivers Glass & Door. and
opened it's doors in the spring of 1992. The company was started
with just two men and one truck. Today Two Rivers Glass &
Door has more than 20 employees and 11 company vehicles.
In
2004, with retirement approaching, Larry sold Two Rivers Glass
& Door. to his son Joe Pollpeter. Larry remains active
as a consultant to the business. Joe, who started with
Two Rivers Glass & Door in February of 1994, is proud to
continue the quality or service and craftsmanship that his father
began.
The majority of our
work consists of new commercial construction, both storefront
and curtain
wall systems. However, in recent years Two Rivers Glass
& Door has completed many custom
projects. You may be familiar with the Meredith
Fountain or the Grays Lake Bridge.
